Privacy Policy

Shaksthetics LLC ("Shaksthetics", "we", "us", or "our") operates the online coaching platform at shaksthetics.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

Information you provide directly

• Account information — name, email address, and (if using Google Sign-In) your Google profile picture.
• Body metrics — bodyweight (lb), height (ft/in). Used solely to build and adapt your training and nutrition program.
• Demographic information — gender and, optionally, ethnicity. These are collected to account for documented physiological differences in training response and recovery. They are never used for advertising, never sold, and never shared with any third party.
• Goals and notes — training goals you select and any freeform notes you add during onboarding or check-ins.
• Program logs — workout completions, weights lifted, sets/reps, food logs, and body-weight entries you record inside the app.
• Payment information — collected and processed directly by Stripe. We receive a payment method token and subscription status; we never store your raw card number.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and timestamps, collected via Supabase and standard server logs.
• Device information — browser type, operating system, and IP address for security monitoring and session management.

We use the information we collect to:

• Deliver, personalise, and improve your coaching program.
• Communicate with you about your program, check-ins, and account.
• Process subscription payments and manage billing via Stripe.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your demographic data for advertising or share it with advertisers.

We share your information only with:

• Stripe — payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure. Data is stored in the US (us-east-1). Subject to Supabase's Privacy Policy.
• Google — authentication if you use "Sign in with Google". Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect our rights and safety.

No other third parties receive your personal information.

We retain your account and program data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request account deletion, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes (typically 7 years for billing records).

Depending on your location you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format).

We use browser cookies and local storage solely to maintain your authenticated session and remember your in-app preferences (such as your current level). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

The platform is not directed at children under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including TLS encryption in transit, row-level security policies in our database, and regular security reviews. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you by email. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
